Welcome to my portfolio! I’m Amaranta, a passionate Digital Designer and UX/UI specialist dedicated to crafting meaningful connections through design. My journey began with a degree in International Business, followed by valuable experience in the import/export sector at GE. This foundation, combined with my roles in tourism at Hilton Mexico as a reservation agent and marketing assistant, has fueled my empathy and understanding of user needs.
Relocating to Canada marked a significant turn in my career as I pursued my passion for digital design at VFS, specializing in user experience. During this period, I embraced the joys of motherhood, which enriched my life and provided a unique perspective that has shaped me into a more empathetic and resilient designer. Far from being a gap, these four years were filled with continuous learning, personal growth, and the development of my design skills through freelance projects and personal initiatives.
I invite you to explore my portfolio and see how I blend creativity and strategy to create user-centered designs that resonate and connect. Welcome to my world of design, where every challenge is an opportunity to grow and inspire.
I specialize in crafting captivating graphics, illustrations, infographics, and motion graphics that effectively convey brand messages and resonate with target audiences.
I integrate my understanding of UX/UI principles into my projects to inform design decisions and create engaging content. I’ve had valuable experience within UX teams, contributing to the end-to-end product development process from research to high-fidelity prototypes.
I’m adept at using industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Figma to bring creative visions to life.
I thrive under pressure and excel at meeting tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in all my work.
Beyond technical prowess, I shine in communication and collaboration, fostering effective teamwork that aligns with organizational goals and audience needs.
While I may not be a senior-level designer yet, my dedication to continuous learning and improvement drives me to evolve into a more proficient and impactful designer over time.
